Appearance:

Ulefone is a full-screen device with narrow bezel and unique screen size. Most of the screens are either 6 inch or 5.7 inches long that makes the devices difficult to handle with a single hand. Ulefone S8 supports a one glass solution display with 5.3-inch length, 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and a density of 277 PPI. If asked to portray an unbiased opinion, this phone does not have the best specification but it guarantees a good vision.

The one glass solution used in the display is used to reduce the display thickness. The front glass has the touch module right beneath it making the display lighter and enhances the vision. As a result, the display becomes lighter and provides better viewing performance. It has a dimension of 14.60 x 7.20 x 0.92 cm and is expected to be a little bulkier than expected. To solve this issue a 2.5D arc glass is used in the front and the back is curved for better look and feel.

The mobile body is made of metal that gives the device a strong built. But the strength has its own tradeoff points. The device gets hot in summers and cold in winters. The device also puts a little more weight due to the metal. Keeping this in mind the cover is designed to act as a heat sink. There is a black cover as well, made up of rubber. It can be removed to take the battery out if required. Nowadays removable plastic covers are considered outdated but considering its design and cover material, the removable panel is not at all a drawback. Other features like interfaces and sensors are included in the built with front camera and a few sensors placed on the screen. All this configures to provide asymmetric body.

Talking about the sound quality, Ulefone S8 Pro provides a satisfactory audio performance, but it is obviously not the best. There is noise cancellation hole present along with power keys and volume rockers. On the top of the body, you can find a 3.5mm jack and an OTG based micro USB port. The back of the mobile has a dual-camera with dual-LED flash along with a fingerprint scanner. There is a small slit present in the lower end that helps in removing the panel. It has a dual SIM card slot along with an SD card slot positioned over one of those slots.

Hardware and Performance:

Ulefone S8 Pro has MediaTek MT6737, which doesn’t make it stand out on the basis of performance. Although it doesn’t make it a bad processor, the performance could have been far better if snapdragon was used.  While reviewing a similar set of phones, MediaTek has been reported for low-level performance. The Ulefone S8 Pro has a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM declaring it an entry-level phone. Checking the AnTuTu score, it earned 30 points while GeekBench gave 1062 points to it. The MediaTek MT6737 is used to maintain the cost efficiency.

It also backs features like VoLTE, ViLTE, VoWiFi, and RCS that are supported by IMS that allows for the rich network. The quad-core 64 bit CPU has ARM Cortex of A53 architecture and paired with the graphical process of Mali T720 MP. The enactment is sufficient for the mobile phone to play 3D games and run top android phones. Ulefone S8 Pro has a 3000mAh battery and 5V/2A charging port that has a steady speed. Installed with android nougat, there aren’t much design changes that are implemented.

Camera:

Despite several new changes, this phone uses a typical dual camera that was launched a few years ago. The rearview camera is 13MP and the secondary camera is 5MP that also supports bohek effect. The bohek effect comprises of feature a feature that focuses the object that is located in the close proximity, blurring the background. This feature is one of the most amazing features that can be included in the camera feature.

However, Ulefone S8 Pro’s dual-camera is just a normal regular camera accomplished by taking normal pictures. It has a focus on f/2.2 discovering everything close to the vicinity. The only feature worth boosting is the dual-LED flash. This feature gives the user, an immense flexibility of taking pictures in the dark and low light circumstances.

Conclusion:

Concluding about Ulefone S8 Pro won’t be that tough. Most of its features are same as that of Ulefone S8. This device has an in-cell matrix that is commonly available on many smartphones these days. The rest of the features are the same as its predecessor. Given below are its pros and cons to help you analyze better.
